"The Computer-Integrated Machining curriculum provides students with the analytical, creative and innovative skills necessary for a career focused on precision manufacturing utilizing a variety machine shop industrial equipment in a state-of-the-art facility. Coursework includes: Blueprint interpretation and technical math, and manual and computerized numeric control (CNC) machining. Other instruction includes industry specific computer applications such as: computer-aided drafting (CAD), computer-aided machining (CAM). Graduates should qualify for employment as machining technicians in: Fabrication industries, high-tech manufacturing, rapid-prototyping and rapid-manufacturing industries, specialty machine shops, high-tech or emerging industries such as: Aerospace, aviation, medical, and renewable energy, as well as prepare students to sit for machining certification examinations."
