Central Sterile Processing

"The Central Sterile Processing Program (CSP) at Fayetteville Technical Community College follows the standards and recommended practices as outlined in the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). The Central Sterile Processing curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for the field of Sterile Processing and Central Service Supply. Students will develop skills necessary to properly disinfect, prepare, process, store, and distribute both sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment for patient care. Also, students will learn to operate various sterilization units and monitor effectiveness of the sterilization process." Taken from FTCC's Central Sterile Processing website.
