The key to library database research is using the correct keyword search to yield relevant sources. Use a thesaurus to find synonyms and related words for your research. Also, pay close attention to the keywords that the databases suggest when conducting your keyword search. Many times, the library database does not produce the same keywords as our natural language, i.e. "concerts" vs "music festivals".
Feel free to create a word maps of your keyword search. Visuwords is a great place to start for word maps. Enter words into the search box to look them up or double-click a node to expand the tree. Click and drag the background to pan around and use the mouse wheel to zoom. Hover over nodes to see the definition and click and drag individual nodes to move them around to help clarify connections."
